Chiefs leader to deliver Distinguished Executive Lecture

While the Kansas City Chiefs provide plenty of excitement on the football field, Bill Chapin makes sure that there is plenty of excitement for fans and supporters off the field.

Chapin, the senior vice president of business operations for the Kansas City Chiefs, will deliver the Distinguished Executive Lecture in Business and Leadership at 7:30 p.m. on March 30 at William Jewell College’s Yates-Gill College Union room 221.

Chapin is in his fourth year with the Chiefs. His duties include oversight of marketing strategy, branding, advertising, fan development, digital and social media, community outreach, charitable giving, 65 TPT Productions, the Arrowhead Art Collection, Chiefs Cheerleaders, Red Coaters, Chiefs Ambassadors, the Chiefs Women’s Organization and KC Wolf. He is also a member of many National Football League working groups.

Away from the Chiefs, he serves on Kansas City Mayor Sly James’ summer youth task force, the Committee of 101, the Starlight Theatre Board, and serves as the board chair for the Kansas City Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
