October 1st marked the launch of Cardinal Community, a new virtual gathering place for William Jewell alumni.

“We are thrilled to be able to provide this important connection for Jewell alumni,” said Kent Huyser ’93, Executive Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving. “Cardinal Community provides a wonderful new tool for Jewell alumni to reconnect with the people and place that has shaped their life’s journeys.”

During the initial October registration period alone, more than 1,000 alumni registered to be a part of the Cardinal Community. Registrants have included graduates from the 1940s through 2008.

President’s Report/Honor Roll of Donors
now online

For the first time, William Jewell’s President’s Report & Honor Roll of Donors will be presented as a searchable, online document, providing easy access for alumni, donors and friends of the College who wish to review Jewell’s donor list from the 2007-2008 fiscal year.

In addition to providing a more accessible document, the new online format provides some exceptional “green” benefits to the College as well. A survey of other national liberal arts colleges revealed that many institutions are choosing to forego the traditional printed lists of gifts and donors in favor of the more searchable, and environmentally friendly, online format.

The 2007-2008 President’s Report/Honor Roll of Donors can be viewed at the Cardinal Community site at www.jewellalumni.com. In order to view the report, alumni and friends must be members of the Cardinal Community. You can register at the address above.
