Admitted Students
Congratulations! You’ve been admitted to William Jewell College and joined a select group of talented students who are ready to embrace the Jewell Journey. Upon admittance to the college you will receive your official William Jewell Acceptance Packet. If you have not received this packet, please contact your admission counselor.
To confirm your spot in the William Jewell Class of 2015 please complete the following Steps:
1. Visit campus: Register for one of our Individual Campus Visits, or a Visit Event.
2. Submit your Enrollment Deposit
Officially reserve your spot for Fall 2011 – space is limited so don’t delay! Priority Residence Hall selection and Enrollment Date determination is made based on receipt of your $300 Enrollment Deposit. Your deposit is applied toward your cost of attendance and fully refundable through May 1. To submit your $300 deposit, complete the Enrollment Confirmation Form and mail with your deposit to: William Jewell College, Office of Admission, 500 College Hill, Liberty Missouri, 64068.
Or you can submit your Enrollment Deposit Online by clicking the banner to the right. You will still need to complete and send in your Residence Hall Application and Health forms.
You can also submit your deposit by calling the Office of Admission at (816) 415-7511, or toll free at 1-888-2-JEWELL (253-9355).
3. Accept your Financial Aid
Once you have reviewed your financial aid package (sent after you have completed the FAFSA) you need to officially accept or decline the types of financial aid offered through the My Jewell website. If you have misplaced your login information (sent when you applied to Jewell), contact your admission counselor and they can provide you with your username and password. 4. Submit your Residence Hall Application
This is where you can let us know the type of roommate you're looking for, or if you already know of someone you would like to room with! Residence Hall preferences and requests are met on a first come-first serve basis determined by the dates in which the Residence Hall Application and Enrollment Deposit are received.
5. Register for Cardinal Days: April 30th, June 3rd or June 17th
It’s a blast and it’s required for all new first-year and transfer students! Choose one of three days to return to campus to be a part of pre-orientation activities that will make Jewell to feel even more like home. You’ll meet with an academic advisor and enroll in classes for the fall, finalize financial aid, and meet other incoming students (maybe even your future roommate(s)). Summer 2011 Cardinal Day registration is now closed.
If you are registering for classes after the last Cardinal Day event, please contact your admission counselor to arrange a individual registration appointment.
6. Complete your Academic Records
Upon completion of your final semester at your previous institution, be sure to have your AP, IB, Dual Credit, and/or final High School/College transcript(s) sent to Jewell: William Jewell College, Office of Admission, 500 College Hill, Liberty Missouri, 64068.
7. Submit your Health History and Immunization Record
This information is due before the Fall 2011 move-in day (Saturday, August 20th).
