International Applicants:
- Step 1: Complete the International Undergraduate Application for Admission
- Step 2: Provide a TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based test) or 213 (computer-based test) or 80 (internet based test) or provide a TOEFL score of 500/173/61 and evidence of successful completion of HLI-L Level 9 or provide a TOEFL score of 500/173/61 and evidence of completion of 12 weeks at HLI-L (at least 8 weeks of which must be at the advanced levels).
- Step 3: Submit official or attested copies (in English) of your secondary and postsecondary transcripts. You must submit a minimum secondary school GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) in a college preparatory curriculum. In addition, if you have postsecondary work from a foreign college or university, you must contact World Education Services (WES) at www.wes.org and request that a course-by-course evaluation of your postsecondary work be sent to William Jewell College. College credit may be awarded based on the evaluation provided by WES.
- Step 4: Submit a letter of recommendation from someone who can attest to your academic potential.
- Step 5: Submit an official Documentation of Financial Support showing your ability to pay for a William Jewell College education and support yourself throughout your educational program. This statement and documentation will be assessed before you are offered formal admission to William Jewell College.
- Step 6: If you have not yet completed postsecondary coursework and wish to be considered for an academic merit scholarship, you must provide ACT or SAT scores.
The materials mentioned above must be sent to the Office of Admission by the following deadlines in order for a formal offer of admission to be granted:
- Fall Term: July 14
- Spring Term: December 1
