| Yale-bound biology major wins Faculty Award |

Joe Endicott '11, biology major, was named William Jewell's Faculty Award Winner. Joe will attend Yale's Ph.D. Program for Molecular, Cellular, Genetics and Developmental Track in the Department of Biology and Biomedical Sciences. He also was accepted to Ph.D. programs at Princeton, Stanford, MIT, Johns Hopkins and Washington University.
The Faculty Award is given to one student each year who has spent at least three years at William Jewell College and who has a grade point average of 3.75 or higher. It is awarded on the basis of academic achievement and exemplification of the highest ideals of a liberal arts education at William Jewell College. In 2009, Joe received a national Goldwater Scholarship.
