Dr. Paul Klawinski, Monte Harmon Professor of Biology, was awarded a 2010 summer research project grant to continue his work on the effects of habitat structure and stream subsidies on spider community structure in the Luquillo Forest of Puerto Rico. Dr. Klawinski has been studying changes in the spider community of this region following a 1998 hurricane strike.
