Hanging of the Green, 10:15 a.m. December 1 John Gano Memorial Chapel, William Jewell College campus, Liberty An all-campus musical celebration, featuring the Flute and Handbell Choirs and the Jazz Band.
Lighting of the Quad, 7 p.m. December 2 Gano Chapel and Quadrangle, William Jewell College campus, Liberty A time of music and celebration of the season in Gano Chapel with the Symphonic Band, followed by a lighting ceremony on the Quad.
"Cardinal Christmas" with Melodic Sensation, 7 p.m. December 3, Gano Chapel, $3; fundraiser for Jewell's new vocal glee club.
Messiah, 7:30 p.m. December 10 and 6:30 p.m. December 12 Second Baptist Church, 309 W. Franklin, Liberty William Jewell Chapel Choir joins the Second Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir for performances of the Christmas portion of Handel’s Messiah.
The City Come Again, noon December 13 Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, Broadway at 13th Street, Kansas City Jewell’s Christmas gift, in words and music, to the city, featuring the College’s Handbell and Concert Choirs, along with a seasonal homily from President David Sallee.
