For the first time ever, the William Jewell College Chapel Choir will present a choral orchestral work of their own--Joseph Haydn's "The Seven Last Words of our Savior on the Cross." This free concert will take place at Second Baptist Church in Liberty, Mo., Monday April 6th at 7:30 p.m., observing both the 200th anniversary of Haydn's death as well as Holy Week.
The performance will feature the Chapel Choir, an orchestra of advanced students and professionals, and voice soloists from the voice faculty--Sarah Tannehill, Melinda Lein, Jay Carter and Ron Witzke.
