2013-2014 Academic Scholarships
William Jewell offers Presidential Scholarships to first-year students of various amounts based on the year the applicant is admitted to Jewell.
The value of a student’s scholarship is primarily determined from a combination of their cumulative GPA and standardized test score. Jewell accepts updates in official ACT and SAT test scores through the February test dates and updated cumulative GPA through the student’s seventh semester of high school. New test scores or increases in cumulative GPA’s that are received after a student has been admitted will automatically be reviewed and students that qualify for a new scholarship level will automatically be notified.
Students with solid academic performance in high school, along with leadership and personal accomplishments, who do not qualify for Presidential Scholarship may be eligible for the Achiever Award.
- Amounts may vary between $4,000-$9,000
The Achiever and Presidential scholarships are mutually exclusive; therefore students may qualify for only one merit award from Jewell.
