Andrea Eddy graduated from Jewell in just three years. She was named Jewell’s ‘Athlete of the Year’ in 1985. She was also a letter winner in cross country and track. Eddy placed second in the mile in the HAAC in 1983 and won the HAAC cross country meet in 1982. Then, at the 1984 HAAC indoor meet she won the mile and 880 and ran on the winning mile relay team. Eddy was also the HAAC 3-mile champ at a 1984 outdoor meet. Andrea Eddy set a total of seven school records in distance events.
