Art Carder attended Jewell from 1956-60. He lettered in both football and track and captained both as a senior. Carder placed in both hurdle events at the MCAU track meet throughout his career including winning high hurdles as a sophomore. Additionally, Carder was an All-Conference selection in football and played on three MCAU Championship squads in football.
