Frank Chrane attended Jewell from 1933-1937. He was an outstanding track performer who won the MCAU conference title in both the 100 yard dash and the 220-yard dash four years in a row. Chrane also ran a 9.8 in the 100. The Cardinals were conference champs in 1937 and second in 1936. He was the squad high point man all four years
