Jack Talley attended Jewell from 1976-80. He was a four year letter winner in baseball. He played on four MCAU Championship teams and two squads that qualified for the NAIA National Tournament. The 1977 squad won the conference, district and Area IV titles along with reaching the 3rd Round of the National Tournament. Talley was named an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American as a sophomore and a 2nd Team All-American as a senior.
