Robert Gadt

Bob Gadt transferred from Wentworth Military Junior College in Lexington Missouri. Gadt was a letter winner in both football and track. He acted as co-captain of the 1950 MCAU Football Championship Squad. He also competed in the high and low hurdles in track and was the leading scorer in the conference meet his senior year. Gadt also competed in the decathlon at the KU Relays. He was named, “Mr. Football” by the student body in 1951 and announced as Jewell’s Athlete of the Year in 1951.
