The Third Annual Jewell Early Music Summer Festival will be held July 26 to August 5. Directed by Trilla Ray-Carter, cellist and instructor of music, and Jay Carter, countertenor and Jewell artist in residence, with Dr Anthony Maglione, assistant professor and director of choral studies, and soprano Sarah Tannehill Anderson, this year’s festival features early music from the across the European continent.

The Jewell Early Music Workshop August 1-5, William Jewell College campus, Liberty, Mo. Workshop for vocal, choral and instrumental performance. Open to advanced high school and college musicians, accomplished amateurs and instructors.
The Workshop Seminar Series: Baroque Outside the Box! A series of discussions and informal performances. August 1-4, 3:30-4:45 p.m., Gano Chapel, William Jewell College campus, Liberty General Admission $10 per day, payable at the door.
