Jewell’s Black Student Association to stage fashion show Contact: Rob Eisele, 816-415-7574 February 12, 2008
The Black Student Association of William Jewell College will host a “Bourbon Street Runway Fashion Show” at 7 p.m. February 27 in John Gano Memorial Chapel on the campus in Liberty, Mo. Tickets for the benefit show are priced at $5 in advance or $7 at the door. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for Hurricane Katrina victims in New Orleans.
“The theme for the night is Mardi Gras, and the show will include apparel from Sir Knight Formal Wear, Quotations LLC and Zabedo,” said student organizer Bethany Brown. “In addition to the fashion show, there will be music, games and prizes.”
