Life after WJC
When nearing the completion of a degree from William Jewell, a student has many choices to consider. Additional scientific study in graduate school is a choice for many, while others go directly into a career involving chemistry. Students who have been in our Premedical advisory program apply for positions in professional schools. There is a strong demand for persons who are well-educated in chemistry.
To assist students in discovering the choice that's appropriate for them, a summer research program is sometimes useful. The American Chemical Society has a web site that includes information about summer research opportunities, internships, study-abroad programs, etc.
