Black Student Union (BSU)

The purpose of BSU is to enlighten the campus and community through education and awareness on Black history as well as cultural and current issues. BSU plans, creates and promotes cultural functions for its members as well as the entire William Jewell College community, to perpetuate community responsibility, promote racial understanding and awareness of social issues, provide a forum in which the voice of the black students may be heard effectively and to assist black students in obtaining leadership ability, experience and opportunity.

The BSU meets every Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the Multicultural Center (Jones Hall).
