We know that Charlie Parker, the great Kansas City musician, was onto something when he said those words. At William Jewell College we’ll partner with you to enhance your talent and build the skills and knowledge base you need to achieve your goals and live your music. It’s an amazing journey, and it all begins at Music 101.
Attending Music 101 gives you the opportunity to personally experience music at Jewell. Whether you plan to major, minor, or simply continue to pursue music in addition to other studies, at Music 101 you’ll gain an understanding of what it’s like to live music as a
college student at William Jewell.
Here’s what you can do at Music 101:
- - Attend music classes
- Observe rehearsals
- Experience a private mini-lesson
- Hear select ensembles in performance
- Attend a student recital
- Tour campus
- Enjoy lunch on us
At Music 101, you’ll discover what it takes to become a music student at Jewell and the journey our students live. From Kansas City to around the world, Jewell music students are living their music in virtually all areas of the music industry. Take the first step for yourself and join us for Music 101.
