Opera Workshop, Jazz Band offer a taste of Broadway and opera at Jewell’s Café Diva

Students and faculty in the William Jewell College Opera Workshop will join with members of the William Jewell College Jazz Band to present “Café Diva,” a program of songs from opera, Broadway and the jazz repertoire, at 7 p.m. Friday, October 31, in the Phelps Dining Hall of Yates-Gill College Union on the campus in Liberty, Mo.
Gourmet desserts, coffees and teas will be served during intermission. Tickets are $12 per person, and seating is limited. Reservations will be accepted until noon on the day of the show; call 816-781-7700, ext. 5204.
