Head Volleyball Coach


Allison Jones begins her sixth year as Jewell's head women’s volleyball coach at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo.

Jones, who received her B.A. from William Woods University and her M.S. from Northwest Missouri State University, has a strong volleyball background that includes a successful playing career at William Woods University, where she played volleyball four years and was 20th in the NAIA national stats in “Passing Percentage.” After graduation she coached volleyball, softball and basketball at Westminster College for five years. She was also the head volleyball coach for five years at Washburn University, a NCAA Div. II program. 

Jones was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2005 and led the 2006 squad to their second ever regular season conference title.  Jones can be reached at 816-415-5961.   To email coach Jones click here.

Tori Figg
Assistant Volleyball Coach

Tori graduated from William Jewell in 2009. She was a captian of the Cardinal Volleyball team during her four year career. She was a four- time First Team All-Conference player, Setter of the Year, and holds the Jewell record for assists per game.

Since graduation she has coached for the Sandshark Volleyball Club and coached at the high school level. Beyond the court, she is currently a Spanish teacher at Liberty High School.

Her husband is Trent Figg, an '08 graduate of William Jewell, and a member of the Cardinal Football coaching staff.
