CHE 301   Organic Chemistry I  (4)
CHE 302   Organic Chemistry II  (4)
BIO 233    Cell and Molecular Biology  (4)
BIO 234    Genetics  (4)
BMS 250    Human Physiology  (4)

Each of these courses has a laboratory component.   The lab is typically required as a prerequisite for professional schools, but it is not a requirement of this minor.



The minor does not cover all prerequisites for professional school.   For example, students should also take two semesters of physics.  Different schools may have slightly different sets of prerequisites.

Please note that students majoring in biochemistry, bioethics, clinical laboratory science, Oxbridge science, and science and technology management with an emphasis in biology, as well as students minoring in chemistry, are not eligible for the pre-medicine minor because the requirements overlap too extensively.
