Several faculty members at William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo., recently received advancements in rank approved by the College’s Board of Trustees.
Dr. Mayumi Derendinger of Leavenworth, Kan., has been promoted to Associate Professor of Mathematics. Dr. Derendinger received her B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. She joined the William Jewell faculty in 2004.
Dr. Scott Falke of Liberty, Mo., has been promoted to Associate Professor of Biology. Dr. Falke received his B.S. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and his Ph.D. from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He joined the William Jewell faculty in 2004.
Dr. Paul Klawinski of Liberty, Mo., has been promoted to Professor of Biology. Dr. Klawinski received his B.S. and M.S. from Stephen F. Austin State University and his Ph.D. from the University of Texas-Arlington. He joined the William Jewell faculty in 2000.
Dr. Kelli Schutte of Olathe, Kan., has been promoted to Associate Professor of Business Administration. Dr. Schutte received her B.A. from Calvin College; her M.B.A. from Western Michigan University; and her Ph.D. from Michigan State University. She joined the William Jewell faculty in 2004.
