Randy Cunningham will present a clarinet recital Wednesday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Forbis Recital Hall in Pillsbury Music Center on the William Jewell College campus in Liberty, Mo. His performance is part of the Jewell Artist Series. Cunningham, an adjunct music instructor at William Jewell, will be accompanied by Monty Carter, viola, and Betty Dunham, piano. The recital is free to the public.
Among the works to be performed are Sonata for Clarinet and Piano in E Flat Major, Op.120, No.2 by Johannes Brahms; Sonata for Clarinet and Piano (1962) by Francis Poulenc; and Marchenerzahlungen for Clarinet, Viola and Piano, Op.132 by Robert Schumann
