William Jewell College presents the following free music events:
On Sunday, November 8 at 3 p.m., the Concert Choir will present Herbert Howells' Requiem, as well as works by Moses Hogan, R. Vaughan Williams, John E. West and Steven Sametz. They will also perform, Oh, my love is like a red, red rose, a piece written by senior music composition major, Kristen Walker. The concert will be held at Liberty United Methodist Church.
On Sunday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m., the Chapel Choir will present the choral music of Zoltan Kodaly including Pange Lingua and Missa Brevisin Gano Chapel on the William Jewell College campus. Robert Mance is the interim director of choral studies and Ann Marie Rigler will accompany on the organ.
