William Jewell football team reschedules Youth Day activities

PLEASE NOTE SCHEDULE CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS
Due to weather conditions, the William Jewell College football team has rescheduled its fourth annual Football Youth Day. Originally scheduled for Friday, September 12, the event has been rescheduled for Friday, September 26, from 4:45 – 5:30 p.m. at Greene Stadium on the Jewell campus in Liberty, Mo. The youth day is for children in grades K-6.
There will be an opportunity to meet members of the Cardinal football team and Spirit Team and join them in a real practice.
“This is a great opportunity to learn more about football and the sprit team aspect of the game,” said head coach Fran Schwenk. “We feel it is vital to bring our enthusiasm and the love of our sports to the children of the community, and an event like this helps us do just that.”
Each child participating in Youth Day activities will receive a free pass to the September 27 home contest between William Jewell and MidAmerica Nazarene University.
