William Jewell College is offering individual visits and events for students, parents and others who would like to learn more about the liberal arts college recently named one of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance “Best College Values.”
Spring visit opportunities include:
Presidential Campus Preview: High school sophomores and juniors are invited to learn about the college planning process, financial aid and NCAA Division II Athletics. Guests will also have the opportunity to visit with faculty, students and Jewell Admission staff. Two dates are available to participate in these events during the spring semester: Saturday, March 24th or Saturday, March 31. Individual Visits: Prospective students can experience Jewell’s individual learning environment and emphasis on experiential learning through an individual campus visit. Campus visits provide the opportunity to visit one-on-one with current students, professors, coaches and admission counselors. Individual visits are scheduled in advance at 9:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the semester. Individual visit times can also be scheduled at 9:45 a.m. Saturday mornings January 14-May 12. Kiplinger’s Personal Finance named William Jewell College among its annual “Best College Values,” a national resource guiding prospective students to the universities and liberal arts colleges that combine outstanding quality with affordability. According to the publication’s web site, William Jewell was recognized because of a high four-year graduation rate, low average student debt at graduation, good student-to-faculty ratio, excellent on-campus resources and overall great value.
