Government Documents

Curry Library has been a selective depository of United States documents since 1900. Much of the current state and federal government information is now produced in electronic format accessible on-line through the Internet.

Many of the government documents held by Curry Library can be located by using the on-line public catalog. Most of the documents are shelved in closed stacks. Ask at the circulation desk for them (by their classification number) or contact the Government Documents Librarian.

Government documents can be checked out to William Jewell faculty, students and staff. The public can also access the print materials by contacting Rebecca Hamlett at hamlettr AT william.jewell DOT edu. The loan period is the same as for other materials. The general public is welcome to use the documents in the library.

Contact the Government Documents Librarian at hamlettr AT william.jewell DOT edu for assistance with this collection.

The website for the Missouri State Publications with digital access to Missouri Government Documents can be found here. The website for the Official Manual of the State of Missouri, including historical volumes, is located here.

A list of critical government document titles is designated by the Federal Depository Library Administration. These titles are available electronically through the Charles F. Curry Library via the links below.
