Jewell student receives academic honor from Oxford University

William Jewell College student Mikayla Roller has been awarded the Mansfield Visiting Student Prize from Mansfield College, University of Oxford. The award is given to one visiting student each term, recognizing outstanding academic performance.

Oxbridge majors receive rigorous training in analytical thinking, critical evaluation, writing and oral presentation.

Roller, of Lee’s Summit, is an Oxbridge institutions and policy major, with additional majors in international relations and economics. She begins her senior year at William Jewell this month and is interested in working for the U.S. Department of State, USAID or IMF (International Monetary Fund).
