Jewell welcomes three new faculty members

William Jewell College has hired three new faculty members to begin teaching in the 2017-2018 academic year:

  • David Fox, II, will serve as an assistant professor of biology. Fox earned his M.D. from SUNY Upstate Medical University and his M.A.T.S. from Columbia International University. He is a certified member of the American Board of Family Medicine. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Houghton College (N.Y.).
  • Taqsim Husnain will join Jewell as an assistant professor of civil engineering. He earned his Ph.D. from George Washington University. He holds a master’s degree in science from Virginia Tech and a master’s in engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
  • Patty Richter will be a part of the Jewell nursing program as a visiting instructor. She earned her master’s of science in nursing from the University of Central Missouri and earned a B.S.N. from St. Luke’s College of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Mo.
