My hometown: Olathe, KS
What I think makes William Jewell College special: At William Jewell, our focus is you – undergraduate students seeking a bachelors degree at a nationally recognized Liberal Arts campus. Which means one-on-one interaction with our highly qualified faculty, time spent in science labs conducting research on your own and with your peers; the opportunity to participate in campus activities, music, and theater productions; and leadership roles from the first time you step foot on the Jewell Campus!
My favorite spot on the Jewell campus: I love the view of downtown Kansas City when standing on the Quad, while looking over my shoulder and seeing wide-open spaces. Two of the best qualities Mid-west living has to offer - the opportunities of city life, with the comfort, safety, and friendliness of a Mid-western town.
College Degree: Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication with a minor in Business, Master of Arts in Educational Administration
During my college years, I was involved in: Lambda Pi Eta – Communication National Honor Society, Greek Life, Intramurals, Admission Tour Guide, Foundation Student Representative, and New Student Orientation Leader.
In my spare time, I enjoy . . . spending time with my husband Ryan, our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, our very large Italian/Irish families, and great friends! You can also find me on the running trails in the KC Metro Area, cheering on the William Jewell Cardinals, visiting the local shopping malls, or vacationing on the slopes of CO, UT, and CA.
Words of wisdom for your college years: On the first day you step on campus your freshman year set a goal to graduate having no regrets! It’s your willingness to take advantage of these four items that will open doors for you now and in the future . ...
