Anthony Maglione, B.M., M.M., D.M.A.
Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Studies 
Conductor/Composer Dr.  Anthony Maglione earned his Bachelor of Music degree at Westminster Choir College of Rider University, his Master of Music Degree at East Carolina University, and his Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of California, Los Angeles. -- Read Bio  --

Calvin Permenter
, B.M., M.M., D.M.A.
Professor of Music and Director of Keyboard Studies
Dr. Permenter earned his Bachelor of Music from the University of Cincinnati-Conservatory of Music and his Master of Music from Drake University. He earned his Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music. Dr. Permenter has also studied in Paris at Ecole Normale with Gaby Casadesus and the American Conservatory in Fontaine Bleau, France. -- Read Bio  --

Ann Marie Rigler, B.M., M.S., D.M.A.
Professor of Music and College Organist
Dr. Rigler holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Organ Performance from Southern Methodist University, a Master of Science in Library and Information Science and a Master of Music in Musicology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Organ Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Iowa.

Jay Carter
, B.S., M.M.
Visiting Artist in Residence – Vocal Performance and Early Music
Mr. Carter earned his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Voice Performance from William Jewell College and his Master of Music with emphases in Voice and Early Music from the Yale University School of Music and Yale Institute of Sacred Music. While at Yale he served as the Institute of Sacred Music's McClain for the 2007-2008 Academic Year.

Elaine K. Brown, B.M.E., M.M.
Adjunct Instructor of Flute
Mrs. Brown is the Principal Flute in the Liberty Symphony and the Northland Symphony, as well as the Second Flute in the St. Joseph Symphony. Post-graduate work includes multiple master classes with Peter Lloyd and Alexa Still.

Mark Cohick, B.M.
Adjunct Instructor of Woodwinds
Mr. Cohick received his Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music.

Randall Cunningham, B.M., M.M., D.M.
Adjunct Instructor of Clarinet
Dr. Cunningham earned his Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and Doctor of Music. from the Indiana University School of Music-Bloomington.

Stephanie Bryan, B.M.
Adjunct Instructor of Trombone and low Brass
Mrs. Bryan earned her Bachelor of Music from University of Missouri-Kansas City in trombone performance and advance study with members of the Chicago Symphony.

Shelley M. Peters, B.M.E., M.M.E.
Adjunct Instructor of Horn
Ms. Peters earned her Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Kansas and her Master of Music Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Percussion

Raymond A. DeMarchi, B.M.E., M.M.
Adjunct Instructor of Percussion
Mr. DeMarchi earned his Bachelor of Music Education and a Performance Certificate at the State University College of New York-Fredonia and completed his Master of Music at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music.

Tracey Johnson, B.M., M.M., Ph.D.
Adjunct Instructor of Music, Piano 
Mrs. Johnson received her Bachelor of Music  and Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and is currently a doctoral candidate in the music education/education interdisciplinary degree program.

Ann Posey, B.M., M.M.
Adjunct Instructor of Piano, Harpsichord
Mrs. Posey earned her Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance and Church Music from the University of Alabama and her Master of Music in Organ Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She completed post-graduate study in Vienna, Austria and Cambridge, England.

Christie G. White, B.S., M.A.
Director of Handbell Choirs
Mrs. White earned her Bachelor of Music from William Jewell College, her Master of Arts from the University of Central Missouri in Instrumental Music Education and is certified by the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers.

Strings/Guitar

James Albright, B.A
Adjunct Instructor of String Bass
He earned a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Mr. Albright is the principal bass with the Northland Symphony Orchestra and has performed with the Omaha Symphony, LIberty Symphony, Philharmonia and the Kansas City Symphony. He has performed in productions at Starlight Theatre, Missouri Repertory Theater, American Heartland Theater and the Music Hall.

Monty Carter, B.M., M.M.
Adjunct Instructor of Viola
Mr. Carter earned his Bachelor of Music from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and earned his Master of Music from the Louisiana State University School of Music.

Jim Grimm, B.S., M.A.
Adjunct Instructor of Guitar and Music Business
Mr. Grimm earned his Bachelor of Science from William Jewell College and his Master of Arts at California State University. He has done additional study with Angel Romero and Christopher Parkening. 

Trilla Ray-Carter
, B.M.
Adjunct Instructor of Cello
Mrs. Ray-Carter earned her Bachelor of Music from the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music in Appleton, Wisc., pursued masters work at University of Missouri-Kansas Conservatory of Music and has performed and taught in Los Angeles, New Orleans, Kansas City and throughout Europe.

Adjunct Instructor of Voice
Mrs. Haney earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music, her Master of Music from the University of Kansas, and continues her Doctor of Musical Arts studies at the University of Kansas.

Adjunct Instructor of Voice and Accompaniment
                                                                             Ms. Tannehill earned her Bachelor of Music in Performance from Missouri State University and her Master of Music in Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music.

Dr. Cutcliffe earned his Bachelor of Music and his Master of Music from the University of Denver, Lamont School of Music and his Ph. D. from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Allen Myers, B.M., B.M.E., M.M., D.M.A.
Adjunct Instructor of Jazz Studies
Dr. Allen Myers has a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Bachelor of Music Education from Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music, Berea, Ohio, an Master of Music in Jazz Studies from Indiana University-Bloomington and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Music Composition from University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music.

Donald Riddle, B.S.E., M.S.M.
Recording Studio Manager
Mr. Riddle earned his Bachelor of Science from Southwest Missouri State (now Missouri State University). He earned his Master of Sacred Music from the School of Church Music, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and completed Doctor of Music Education graduate course studies at the University of Oklahoma.

Martha Risser, B.M.E., M.E.A.
Adjunct Instructor of Music Education
Ms. Risser earned her Bachelor of Music Education at Drury College and completed her Master of Educational Administration at the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
