William Jewell College has been ranked in the top 150 liberal arts schools according to the U.S. News & World Report’s 2018 “Best Colleges” list.
The magazine placed Jewell in a tie for 147th among national liberal arts schools and in a tie for 144th on the “High School Counselor Rankings.”
Schools are ranked into categories created by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. The annual rankings include weighted measures of graduation and retention rates, undergraduate academic reputation, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, graduation rate performance, alumni giving rate and high school counselor ratings. U.S. News & World Report has been ranking colleges and universities since 1983.
