The Shumaker Challenge
Over 250 young alumni answered the call for Phase One of the Shumaker Challenge, and Jewell benefited by receiving a generous challenge gift of $100,000 from Dianne and Paul Shumaker. Visit the Shumaker Challenge web page to learn about Phase Two of the Challenge, where all alumni and friends of William Jewell have the chance to help the College receive $200,000 from the Shumakers!
Giving to Jewell
Join our most elite group of Jewell Fund supporters -- the Circle of 1849! Over 130 alumni and friends became inaugural members of the Circle of 1849 last fiscal year (July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005) and received a brick in their name in the Quad. Visit our Circle of 1849 web page for details on becoming a member in this society of difference makers.
Interested in making a future gift to WJC? Our planned giving web resources provide details about the different methods of planned giving.
Looking for a way to make your gift to Jewell go farther? Many companies and foundations will match employee gifts to Jewell. A matching gift can double or sometimes even triple the value of your gift! To see if your company has a matching gift program, contact your Human Resources Department to learn whether this benefit is available in your organization.
