As the Executive Director for Alumni Relations, I have the pleasure of connecting alumni with the people and the place that has shaped their life’s journeys. You can imagine how excited we are this month to be in a position to help over 17,000 alumni around the globe connect with one another through the newly launched “Cardinal Community” website and online community.
Over the last few years Jewell has seen a steady increase in attendance at events like Homecoming and Golden Reunion Celebration (formerly referred to as Reunion Weekend), Achievement Day, and the “Jewell Today” gatherings happening in cities all over the country. The “Cardinal Community” is a response to what we are hearing. The new capabilities it offers will provide additional resources that will help you connect with Jewell and others.
Cardinal Community allows users to:
• Create a personal profile
• Search for friends and classmates using the online directory
• Submit an entry for “class notes”
• Post and search for job opportunities
• Network with alumni in specific professions
• Get up-to-date alumni and campus news
• View photo galleries
• Establish a free, personalized and permanent

• Register for events
• Make their annual gifts online.
