Journeys of Mind and Faith Lecture Series
“Journeys of Mind and Faith” is an annual series of faculty lectures that aims to engage the campus community in conversations about the interpenetration of religious faith and academic study. William Jewell College faculty are invited to share their stories of faith and learning, reflecting upon how the two have or have not influenced the other, reflecting upon how one holds to faith in the face of academic study. The series enriches the general faith and learning conversation that defines the mission of the College. Lectures are presented at 7:30 p.m. in Room 221 of Yates-Gill College Union on the William Jewell campus.
Lecture dates for fall 2009 are September 22 with Dr. Jane Woodruff, professor of history and languages, and October 22 with Dr. Lori Wetmore, associate professor of chemistry.
