 Erin Doitchinoff
The College is pleased to announce that Erin Doitchinoff, senior English major with an emphasis in teaching, was presented the Robert J. Greef Award on Friday, 6 Feb. The Greef Award is an honor presented by the Missouri Association of Teachers of English (MATE). It is a state-level award for a graduating English major who has chosen a career in English teaching. Robert J. Greef was an outstanding teacher at Central Missouri State U; the award was established to honor him. Erin brings honor to her English department and to the College.
Erin has intended to teach English for many years. In recognition of her superior capabilities and promise, she was named the first recipient of the WJC Education Department’s Outstanding Junior in Education award at the spring 2003 Honors Convocation. Currently Erin is doing student teaching at Winnetonka High School in the North Kansas City School District.
