Visit Campus - Take the First Step of Your Unique Jewell Journey!
There is no better way to understand your opportunities at Jewell than a campus visit! Your visit can be scheduled any weekday from 9:00 - 3:00 p.m. Call 888-2-JEWELL (888-253-9355), 816-415-7511, or complete an electronic visit request.

Planning an Individual Visit
Tell us what you'd like to do while you’re on campus, and we'll customize your visit around your needs and interests. We strongly encourage you to visit with a faculty member in your academic interest area so come prepared with questions! Additional options include sitting in on a class, touring the campus and residence halls with a current student, talking with your admission counselor about admission, scholarships, and financial aid, meeting with coaches, enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee or a smoothy in The Perch or or sampling the food in the dining halls. You'll get a great idea of what it will be like to be a Jewell student. Staying overnight in a residence hall can also be an option.

After you've requested your visit, Kayle Buscher, Visit Coordinator, will confirm your visit and provide important details. You may also email Kayle at buscherk@william.jewell.edu.

Scheduling note: Please contact us seven days in advance of the date you would like to visit and allow ten days advance notice if you would like to stay overnight in a residence hall. Advance notice allows us to customize your visit!

Attending a Campus Visit Event
Group visit events are offered throughout the year and offer a great first glimpse into all it means to be a Jewell student. Attending a visit event is also an excellent way to meet other prospective students! For questions about events, contact your admission counselor or Karly Schmidt, Event Coordinator, at schmidtk@william.jewell.edu.

Jewell on Display - Choose from seven dates (first time visitors who are seniors are strongly encouraged to select a summer, fall or early winter date). June 16, July 14, August 4, September 13 (Cardinal football game day), October 13, December 5 (includes cool Jewell holiday traditions), and February 23.

At Jewell on Display you and your parents will have the opportunity to quiz faculty about the academic   major(s) in which you're interested, learn how you can earn two, if not three, majors at Jewell, question current students about what their college search was like and what it's like to be a student at Jewell, tour campus and residence halls, learn about the admission, scholarship, and financial aid processes, and if you're a student-athlete, you'll have the opportunity to speak with coaches. And lunch is on us! Select a date and register for Jewell on Display!

Journey to Jewell - An in-depth visit experience that allows you to be a Jewell student for a day! Journey to Jewell is an overnight visit experience that provides a comprehensive look at Jewell. You'll experience life in the residence halls, attend a class, meet with faculty and coaches, experience breakfast, dinner, and lunch in the dining halls, and get the inside story from current students about studying, living, and playing at Jewell. You'll definitely want to Journey to Jewell!

Note: As you plan your visit, please keep in mind that Jewell is closed for campus visits during Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day holiday breaks as well as Good Friday, Memorial Day, and the Fourth of July.
