Evan works with students from Central Missouri, Iowa, and Texas. He graduated from William Jewell in 2003 with a degree in political science and international relations. Recognized as the Colonel Alexander Doniphan award winner in the same year, his study of Just War Theory's jus ad bellum principles within the First Gulf War context became his primary research interest. Evan also played varsity tennis and served as Student Senate Treasurer.
Attending the American University of Beirut while a Jewell student led him to complete a masters degree in Arab studies at the Edmond Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, Washington DC. Evan's travels have taken him to several Arab countries.
In his spare time Evan devours books on espionage, ethics, and Christian doctrine and cannot resist the tempation of his mother's pecan pie when provided!
