Academic Awards

The following are Academic Awards offered at William Jewell College.  Academic credentials for these merit-based scholarships are evaluated by the William Jewell College Office of Admission.  To view academic eligibility criteria click here.

Jewell Scholarship - $11,500 - full tuition (limited availability)

Presidential Scholarship - $10,500

Dean's Scholarship - $9,000

Trustee's Scholarship - $7,500

Faculty Scholarship - $6,000

Achiever Scholarship - $4,000-$6,000

Presidential Scholarship (Transfer Students) - $7,700

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship (Transfer Students) - $6,500

A+ Award (Transfer Students) - $1,500

The A+ Award is presented to students with an A+ scholarship transferring from a community college with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

A cumulative GPA of 3.0 must be maintained for all academic awards.  If the minimum requirement of 3.0 cumulative GPA (3.5 CUM GPA for full tuition awards) has not been maintained, a grace period of one semester will apply.  In this event, it is your responsibility to contact the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarship Services to receive a subsequent award if you achieve the CUM GPA requirement at semester's end.
