President's Advisory Council

The William Jewell College President’s Advisory Council is a group of people who are vitally interested in the future of the College.  This group of advisors helps to develop strategies and resources to strengthen the College within the context of its mission and traditions.

The President’s Advisory Council advises the President on strategic issues facing the College, serving no governance function.

Members of the President’s Advisory Council serve renewable three-year terms.  Members are selected by the President, and have demonstrated leadership for the College and in their own communities in various ways including: 

• professional and personal expertise
• participation in College functions and programs  
• minimum monetary contribution to the College with the possible intent of making William Jewell College a primary philanthropic interest
