Harvest Hill Community Garden at WJC

Harvest Hill is a one acre community garden located on campus that started through a partnership between William Jewell College and local church members of Second Baptist. Harvest Hill is located off RE Bowles Drive in a former soccer practice field in the NE corner of the William Jewell campus.

The purpose of Harvest Hill is to provide a place for Liberty community members to garden, seeking especially to help those who might not be able to have a garden on their own.

The opportunity to garden helps people stretch their food dollar and improve their nutritional intake. Community gardens also improve the overall quality of life in neighborhoods by encouraging self-sufficiency and a sense of community among participants.

Garden plots are available to residents of Liberty and surrounding communities, and William Jewell College students, staff and faculty members. Click here to find out more and join the garden!
