There are two types of interviews offered which are described below.
Description: Behavioral Interviews feature structured questions that allow the interviewer to determine how past behavioral will affect future performance. Expect questions like, "Tell me about a specific time when you ... worked effectively under pressure," "handled a difficult situation with a co-worker," "were creative in solving a problem," etc.
Employers and Alumni will role play job interviews with students and provide feedback. Resume or mock interview form uploaded to eRecruiting will allow you to select an interview time. The resume/mock interview form will be provided to your interviewer. Contact Career Services if you need assistance. You may sign up for both traditional and behavioral interviews. Interviews last 1/2 hour. Open to all majors.
Etiquette/Networking Dinner
Description: Etiquette/Networking Dinner Tuesday, September 22, 2009 • Network with major employers. • Enjoy a delicious meal. • Learn proper rules of etiquette and how to interact in business situations.

Description: The Career Mentor Program matches students with practicing professionals in career fields of interest. It gives students one-on-one mentoring throughout the semester and gives students real world experience. Application Deadline - October 23rd.

Advertising Career Day Description: This is a great day for advertising, design, marketing, media, and public relations students to see what opportunities and challenges wait for them in the "real world" of the industry.
New this year, attendees will have the opportunity to attend five break-out sessions rather than four but pricing remains the same. Students may register for $25-35. The all-day event will be held at the Uptown Theater in Midtown Kansas City, Missouri.
