College offers visit events Contact: Rob Eisele, 816-415-7574 February 7, 2006 A special “Journey to Jewell” program designed to acquaint prospective students with what William Jewell College has to offer will be held beginning at 5 p.m. March 9 and continuing on March 10 on the college campus in Liberty. In addition, the college will sponsor a Transfer Open House for transfer students from 5 to 7 p.m. March 16. “Journey to Jewell is an in-depth visit experience with opportunities to meet with faculty and coaches, attend classes, tour the campus, hear from our faculty and students, and have several meals on campus,” says Alexis Riney, event coordinator at William Jewell. “Prospective students will also have the chance to stay overnight with a student host in one of our residence halls, experiencing what it’s like to be a William Jewell student for a day.” For reservations or to obtain more information on either event, please contact Riney at 816-415-7502, or by email at rineya@william.jewell.edu
