COMMENCEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY:  Commencement photo proofs will be EMAILED to each grad's Jewell email account the week immediately following graduation!  GRADS, be sure to check your Jewell email for a message from Chappell Photography with your photo proofs and ordering information for Commencement photographs.

GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS:  Announcements may still be ordered online at  www.herffjones.com/college/graduation for those wishing to send announcements after-the-fact.

FOUND!  A pair of prescription eyeglasses was found on the Quad after Commencement.  To claim the glasses, please contact the Office of the Registrar at 816-415-5979 and describe the glasses.  Arrangements can be made for returning the glasses to the owner.

DIPLOMAS:  May diplomas will be mailed (or ready for pick-up) by June 1st.  Diplomas for grads who did not complete a Diploma Information form will be mailed to the home address on record.  Diplomas will not be released to those who have holds on their accounts, including an account balance with the Business Office (including parking fines, library fees, lab fees) and also those who have not submitted Financial Aid exit papers.  Contact the Business Office or Financial Aid to determine if a hold has been placed on your account.

Applying for Graduation

Students are expected to apply for graduation when they reach 75 completed hours, in order to be properly tracked by the Office of the Registrar.   An Application for Graduation card must be completed in person at the Registrar's window in Greene Hall.   The Office is currently accepting applications for May 2009 through December 2010.  Students who change their anticipated graduation date must re-apply for graduation at the Registrar's window!
