Tell me about athletics at Jewell.

A member of the Heart of America Conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Jewell fields teams in men's and women's basketball, track, cross country, tennis, soccer, spirit team, and golf, as well as women's teams in volleyball and softball, and men's teams in football and baseball.

Each year Jewell student athletes excel in the classroom as well as on the field. In 2007 the men's teams notched the highest grade point average in the conference for the fifth consecutive year.
