What about residence life at Jewell?

Your learning experience at Jewell will extend far beyond the classroom! All of Jewell’s residence halls are unique living-learning communities providing students the opportunity for personal growth and to build incredible life-long friendships. Resident facilities at Jewell include seven residence halls, 4 men’s fraternity houses, and Jewell’s new sorority complex (under construction). First-year female students reside in Melrose Hall and Ely Hall. First-year males live in Eaton Hall. Upper-class residence halls are co-educational by floor.  For a complete description of residence halls click here.

Note: Jewell’s residence life policy requires all students to live on campus through their junior year except when meeting one or more of the following conditions:
• you are of senior standing
• have completed six chronological semesters at full-time status
• are 22 years of age or older
• taking less than 12 credit hours
• married and’or have children and/or other legal dependents living with you
• successfully appeal through the college’s appeal process
