What about residence life at Jewell?
Your learning experience at Jewell will extend far beyond the classroom! All of Jewell’s residence halls are unique living-learning communities providing students the opportunity for personal growth and to build incredible life-long friendships. Resident facilities at Jewell include seven residence halls, 4 men’s fraternity houses, and Jewell’s new sorority complex (under construction). First-year female students reside in Melrose Hall and Ely Hall. First-year males live in Eaton Hall. Upper-class residence halls are co-educational by floor. Note: Jewell’s residence life policy requires all students to live on campus through their junior year except when meeting one or more of the following conditions: • you are of senior standing • have completed six chronological semesters at full-time status • are 22 years of age or older • taking less than 12 credit hours • married and’or have children and/or other legal dependents living with you • successfully appeal through the college’s appeal process
