Hall of Fame: Henry Moorman

Henry Moorman

Induction: April 28, 1995

Henry Moorman attended Jewell from 1909-13 and became a four year letter winner in football and basketball. He captained the 1913 basketball team which became MIAA Champions. Football was Moorman’s best sport and he was selected All-Missouri as a senior and senior and chosen Captain of the mythical squad. During his senior year, he was also chosen for the All-Missouri Valley team. Moorman was the first Jewell player to be honored in this way from the five state regions.
