Induction: October 9, 1998

Homer Drew attended Jewell from 1962-1966. He was a four year letter winner in basketball and also lettered in tennis. He was Jewell’s first 3-time NAIA Honorable Mention All-American in basketball. He played on two MCAU conference championship teams. Drew is among the school’s career scoring leaders with 1261 points. His single game high scoring record is 43 points, which was a record at the time. He was also a three time MCAU 1st Team All Conference selection. Drew was highly successful in his coaching career at NAIA II Bethel in Indiana. He also coached at NCAA Valparaiso where he retired from coaching in 2002.
