Richard Stonum

Induction: April 20, 1996

Rich Stonum attended Jewell from 1966-70 and lettered in both soccer and baseball. He played on three MCAU title teams in baseball including Jewell’s National Championship team in 1968. It was the Cards only team to win a National Championship. Stonum was also named MVP of the National Tournament as well as an NAIA All-American. He played professionally in the minor league system of the Seattle Pilots and St. Louis Cardinals.
